Motsi Mabuse, born as Motshegetsi Mabuse on 11 April 1981 in Mankwe, is a South African-German ballroom and Latin dancer, dance coach and television personality. She moved to Pretoria at age five, studied briefly law at the University of Pretoria, but then focused on dancing. She became known in Germany through Let’s Dance, first as a professional dancer and since 2011 as judge. In 2019 she joined the judging panel of the UK’s Strictly Come Dancing. She also co-runs a dance school and frequently appears on German TV shows.
